Senior Finance Executive – Finance Department

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) is seeking a Senior Executive/Executive to join its Finance Department. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day financial operations and deliver services to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process staff‑related payments, invoices and respond to related enquiries.
• Calculate liquidated damages for staff development schemes and prepare Ministry of Education funding claims.
• Handle accounting for donations, endowment funds, insurance and assigned fund accounts.
• Review and improve finance processes in collaboration with the Reporting Officer.
• Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Finance.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Polytechnic Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Organised, meticulous and comfortable working with numbers and financial records.
• Positive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
• Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
