Senior Instructor – Sports Science & Education

About the role

The Senior Instructor will join the Student Development & Alumni Affairs Department to lead sports‑related teaching and curriculum development. This role supports the learning journey of students and CCA athletes across sports science, wellness and related subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver teaching modules for sports & wellness subjects, collaborating with fellow instructors and academic staff.
• Develop and manage sports CCA programmes, overseeing training, competitions and talent recruitment partnerships with schools, polytechnics and universities.
• Establish overseas collaborations with reputable clubs or academies to organise exchanges and leadership programmes for athletes.
• Coordinate polytechnic‑wide events such as Freshmen Orientation, Regattas, CCA recruitment drives and admission exercises.
• Handle procurement and administrative processes, including ITQ/tender preparation, vendor liaison and payment processing via Workday, GeBIZ and Vendors@Gov.
• Provide flexible support beyond regular office hours for CCA training, competitions and events.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in a school or sports industry setting, with exposure to teaching, high‑performance team management or event coordination.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, solving complex issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset, result‑orientation and high learning agility.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Generative AI tools (Gen‑AI).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Co‑Pilot.
