Senior Legal Counsel – Capital Markets & M&A

About the role

This senior position sits within the in‑house legal team of a fast‑growing technology infrastructure company at the forefront of artificial intelligence. Reporting to the General Counsel in Singapore, you will work closely with executive leadership, finance, and corporate development on high‑impact financing and corporate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal support for debt financing, lending arrangements and other strategic funding initiatives.
• Advise on equity capital raisings, investment transactions and related corporate matters.
• Support corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
• Structure and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures and investment arrangements.
• Manage relationships with financial advisers, investors, lenders and external counsel throughout transaction lifecycles.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior executives on financing, investment and corporate development initiatives.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, policies and frameworks to support business growth.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years post‑qualification experience in a leading national or international law firm or sophisticated in‑house team.
• Significant experience in debt finance and/or equity capital markets, with exposure to M&A, joint ventures or strategic partnerships.
• Experience supporting capital raising, infrastructure investment, private equity or corporate development programmes.
• Exposure to cross‑border, multi‑party transactions is advantageous.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to deliver pragmatic, solutions‑focused advice to senior stakeholders.
