Senior Manager, Global Employee Communications and Brand

About the role

The Senior Manager, Global Employee Communications and Brand will shape how employees experience SJ, ensuring they understand the company’s strategy, feel connected to its purpose, and are equipped to navigate change. Reporting to the Director of Global Communications, this role partners with senior leaders, People & Culture, and transformation teams across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global employee communications strategy and own the Group‑wide communications calendar.
• Lead the creation of cascade frameworks, communication packs and localisation guidance for internal channels.
• Oversee governance of email, intranet and Viva Engage platforms, monitoring effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.
• Plan and manage change communications for transformation initiatives, including operating model shifts and technology rollouts.
• Design and launch employee engagement, recognition and culture activation campaigns aligned with SJ’s values.
• Partner with People & Culture on employee value proposition and employer brand initiatives.
• Act as steward of the OneSJ brand internally, ensuring consistent presentation across geographies and business lines.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in employee communications, change communications or internal branding.
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams in a global, matrix environment.
• Strong storytelling and organisational alignment skills, with a track record of driving culture and engagement initiatives.
