Senior Project Manager – Offshore Geotechnical Projects

About the role

Fugro is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead offshore geotechnical investigations across the APAC region from its Singapore hub. You will coordinate client expectations, vessel operations, and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high‑quality geotechnical data for safe and sustainable asset development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close offshore geotechnical investigations in line with Fugro’s Project Management handbook.
• Collaborate with Tendering, Operations, Vessel Management, Geotechnical Engineering and Laboratory teams.
• Develop Project Execution Plans, including Operational, Quality, HSSE and Emergency Response Plans.
• Manage project budgets, approve invoices and recover third‑party costs where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with Fugro’s QHSE Management Systems and promote a safety‑focused culture.
• Prepare invoicing data for timely client billing and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in offshore geotechnical investigations.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to adapt to a cyclic industry.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia.
