Senior Research Fellow – Cell & Molecular Biology

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at NTU is seeking a motivated Senior/Research Fellow to advance its research on ageing, inflammation and microbial influences on pancreatic health. The role involves coordinating experimental studies, managing animal models, handling multi‑omics data and contributing to scientific publications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mouse handling, metabolic assessments, tissue harvesting and biological sample processing in line with ethical guidelines.
• Prepare, process and quality‑control samples for metabolomic and transcriptomic sequencing.
• Analyse and integrate multi‑omics datasets to support research objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external researchers to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Contribute to grant applications, write peer‑reviewed manuscripts and present findings at conferences.

Required profile

• Motivated researcher with experience in animal handling and molecular biology techniques.
• Proven ability to manage complex experimental workflows and data sets.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration and scientific reporting.
