Singapore Domestic Tax Specialist (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Singapore Domestic Tax Specialist to support our AI research lab with high‑quality tax guidance. This remote contract position involves reviewing tax research questions, validating legal reasoning, and ensuring our model outputs align with current Singapore tax law.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify Singapore tax research queries for accuracy and depth.
• Validate legal reasoning and tax conclusions against Singapore domestic tax statutes.
• Evaluate IRAS guidance and statutory references to improve model outputs.
• Enhance gold‑standard answers and grading rubrics for better evaluation metrics.
• Monitor recent legislative and policy updates to keep data current and relevant.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Singapore tax experience.
• Accredited Tax Practitioner (Singapore), CA Singapore, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification.
• Deep expertise in Singapore domestic taxation, including IRAS rulings, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and related legislation.
• Proven experience drafting tax memoranda and advisory opinions.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Hourly rate of $95–$125 SGD.
• 10–20 hours per week, remote work.
