Staff Nurse, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide safe peri‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation procedures in a high‑volume laboratory. Working within Changi General Hospital, you will monitor patients, assess vascular access sites and promptly communicate any changes to the cardiology team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and continuously monitor patients’ condition before, during and after cardiac catheterisation.
• Identify and report vascular access site complications to the cardiologist.
• Deliver comprehensive peri‑procedure nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to secure procedural schedules, staffing, and necessary consumables.
• Maintain and prepare cardiac catheterisation equipment, instrumentation and supplies for daily operations.

Required profile

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post‑Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Advanced diploma or post‑basic certificate for senior staff nurse positions.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
