Vice President/Director, APAC Country COO

About the role

Bank of America is seeking a Vice President/Director to serve as the Country Chief Operating Officer for the APAC region, based in Singapore. The role supports Country Executives across Southeast Asia, ensuring governance, regulatory compliance and execution of the bank’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a consultative partner to senior management, translating business performance metrics into actionable insights.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, bank policy and internal control requirements across the APAC portfolio.
• Identify, develop and deliver analytics that address key business needs and drive growth.
• Provide leadership and guidance to achieve the organization’s mission, strategy and performance objectives.
• Prepare and present high‑quality financial and business analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Support Country Executives in fulfilling governance obligations and managing risk.

Required profile

• Extensive business acumen with deep understanding of corporate and investment banking models.
• Proven experience communicating complex information to senior leaders.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to produce rigorous financial analysis.
• Demonstrated track record of ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
• Leadership capability to influence and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
