Warehouse Assistant (Runner) – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant (Runner) ensures smooth movement of goods within the warehouse, delivering materials and products to the right locations quickly and accurately. You will support daily operations in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport materials, parts, and equipment across the warehouse and production areas.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Prepare items for shipment or storage, following proper packaging and labeling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and support the warehouse team.
• Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
