HVAC Manager, Project Engineering

About the role

The HVAC Manager, Project Engineering will lead the delivery of HVAC projects across Singapore, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from sales hand‑over to final hand‑over to the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, managing budgeting, scheduling and end‑to‑end execution.
• Plan and allocate resources, define project scope, set objectives and monitor milestones.
• Conduct site inspections, safety assessments and quality control to mitigate risks.
• Manage a team of seven project engineers, handling performance appraisals and leadership development.
• Drive design and engineering activities in line with contractual commitments.
• Monitor project financials, margins, cash flow and cost control.
• Handle contract administration, variations, claims and commercial risk.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractors and ensure clear communication of project status.
• Coordinate hand‑over to the service maintenance team for defect‑liability period commencement.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution.
• Broad knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical & electrical (M&E) disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
