Senior Electrical Engineer (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Singapore team, leading complex electrical projects, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our designs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize electrical systems and equipment for industrial projects, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Lead and manage electrical engineering tasks across all project phases, from feasibility studies to detailed design and commissioning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and functional descriptions for electrical and control systems.
• Conduct power system analysis and modeling to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the engineering team.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project presentations.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve project outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and maintaining client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) with a minimum of 8 years of design experience in buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary team environments and project management.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and power system modeling tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM).
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting and modeling software.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience designing high‑voltage transmission systems and standby generation systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and willingness to travel for site visits.
