Medical Affairs Specialist

About the role

The Medical Affairs Specialist will shape the CNS medical strategy for the Asia region, aligning with global objectives and product positioning. You will work closely with KOLs, healthcare professionals and internal teams to generate and disseminate scientific evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the CNS medical strategy for Asia, in line with global medical affairs plans.
• Lead evidence generation, including medical review of studies, real‑world evidence, HEOR and digital health initiatives.
• Engage with KOLs, HCPs, professional societies, patient groups and health authorities to communicate scientific data.
• Collaborate with Global Medical teams to design innovative medical affairs studies and programs.
• Provide medical leadership for advisory boards, symposiums, round‑table discussions and other educational events.
• Deliver objective, science‑based presentations to healthcare audiences.
• Develop, review and approve scientific and non‑promotional medical materials.
• Partner with Marketing to identify training needs and deliver scientific training programs.

Required profile

• Advanced life‑science or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent) with experience in a healthcare/pharmaceutical organization.
• Experience in medical affairs and HCP/KOL engagement, preferably in the CNS therapeutic area.
• Strong scientific communication, presentation, organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to work in complex, global, multicultural environments and across cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
