Operations Manager – Private Banking Documentation

About the role

The Operations Manager for Private Banking Documentation will oversee the preparation, review, and management of security documentation and credit facilities for HL Bank Singapore. You will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external parties to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft Letters of Offer, supplementary letters, and security documents in line with approved terms for private banking clients.
• Verify that all pre‑disbursement conditions are satisfied before activating credit facilities.
• Coordinate with valuers, solicitors, insurers and other external agents on valuation, registration, and release of security for both local and overseas assets.
• Maintain accurate records of facility and security documents, ensuring proper pledging and safekeeping.
• Prepare monthly credit committee packs, regulatory reports, and monitor margin calls, collateral shortfalls, and credit exceptions.
• Support internal and external audits, update SOPs, and conduct annual reviews of external legal and valuation partners.
• Lead departmental projects to improve operational efficiency, compliance controls, and system enhancements, including UAT testing.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in assets transfer, mortgage financing, structured financing, or corporate banking financing.
• Strong understanding of credit documentation, security structures, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to work with relationship managers, credit risk teams, and external service providers.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
