AsiaVerify · Singapore
Job description
About the role
AsiaVerify, a corporate verification and risk intelligence provider for organisations across Asia, is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the UK or Singapore. The SDR owns cold outbound through to qualified SQL handoff, generating qualified appointments for the Sales team through focused outbound calling. The role is measured on booking a minimum of 4 qualified appointments per week, with at least 40% accepted as SQLs by Sales. It is a phone-first role reporting to the Revenue Growth & Outbound Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to compliance, risk and onboarding leaders at payment providers, corporate entities and data resellers, handling gatekeepers and objections and following up until a clear outcome.
- Qualify prospects against need, authority, timing and budget, explain the AsiaVerify proposition by phone and email, and book appointments for the Sales team.
- Research organisations and contacts before each call, build knowledge of target industries and regulatory drivers behind KYB and due diligence.
- Run calling campaigns aligned to the ICP-driven campaign calendar, ABM target accounts and trigger-led plays, and share updates regularly with colleagues.
- Log every call, outcome, note and next step in HubSpot on the same day, keeping lead status and lifecycle stage up to date.
- Plan your own day, prioritise call lists and report results to your line manager.
Required profile
- Excellent verbal communication and a confident, professional phone manner; builds rapport easily and listens well.
- Passion for sales, competitive streak and drive to hit targets.
- Self-driven, resilient and persistent, able to work under pressure and stay positive after rejection.
- IT literate, able to use email, internet, Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level.
- Previous outbound calling, telemarketing or SDR experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, is an advantage.
- Experience in SaaS, RegTech, FinTech, compliance, KYB, KYC, AML or third-party risk is advantageous.
Required skills
- HubSpot or a similar CRM platform (advantage)
- Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate)
Salary: £27,000-£35,000 OTE per annum (UK) / circa S$46,000-S$60,000 OTE per annum (Singapore).
