Business Development Manager / Senior Manager, Asset & Wealth Managed Services

About the role

PwC's Risk and Compliance Solutions in Asset and Wealth Managed Services (AWMS) is expanding and is looking for experienced professionals to join its Singapore team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of fund manager clients and companies seeking a Capital Markets Services license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, working as part of a team of subject matter experts with deep regulatory compliance, risk and internal controls experience. The team serves local, regional and global asset managers, alternative asset managers, wealth management firms, digital wealth managers and other capital market intermediaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive programs and initiatives that strengthen client relationships and the strategic client experience
• Conduct research and analysis such as industry research, account performance, company profiling, competitor monitoring and trend identification to support client development
• Proactively identify and pursue new business leads, manage the sales pipeline and convert prospects into clients
• Advocate recommendations based on an understanding of the business, wins and pipeline
• Work with internal stakeholders in regulatory compliance, fund structuring and tax teams to develop proposals that meet client needs
• Support proposals and other business development initiatives as required
• Assist with business planning and management reporting

Required profile

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in a business development role
• Experience in key account management and client development
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a professional services and/or network firm is advantageous
