Senior Pharmacy Assistant

About the role

The Senior Pharmacy Assistant supports pharmacy technicians and pharmacists in daily operations at NUHS Pharmacy, ensuring smooth service delivery and high standards of hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular equipment checks (refrigerators, computers, printers, fax machines) and maintain maintenance records.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy premises, storerooms, and dispensing counters.
• Replenish dispensing consumables and manage inventory of medicines, patient leaflets, and pre‑packed medications.
• Assist with receipt, verification, and storage of stock according to SOPs, and participate in stock‑takes.
• Support repackaging processes, conduct quality control checks, and monitor consumable levels.
• Verify prescription validity, interpret prescriptions, and follow dispensing guidelines.
• Contribute to quality assurance and improvement projects, suggesting workflow enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE N or O Level, or equivalent diploma.
• Service‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Team player who is self‑motivated and reliable.
