Senior Quantity Surveyor – M&E

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor specialised in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to join a leading civil contractor. You will manage the full spectrum of QS activities from tender preparation through to post‑contract administration across local and overseas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, perform pre‑contract activities and support post‑contract administration for M&E disciplines.
• Review contracts, conduct quantity take‑offs, and produce bills of quantities.
• Select and evaluate subcontractors for M&E works.
• Administer contracts and sub‑contracts, including progress claim preparation and variation order handling.
• Verify and certify claims from subcontractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, preferably in a QS consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of measurement, cost estimation, construction technology, contracts and legal aspects.
• Proficiency in professional practice and contract administration processes.
• Ability to work independently on QS functions while demonstrating strong teamwork.
