Team Leader Laboratory

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Team Leader to coordinate daily activities within a laboratory department. The role serves as the first point of contact for team members, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with safety standards, and high‑quality analytical work.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily laboratory activities and workflow.
• Plan laboratory tasks and manage resource allocation.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper maintenance.
• Enforce safety rules and oversee compliance within the department.
• Act as the primary liaison between Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Management.
• Investigate and resolve analytical and post‑analytical issues related to samples.
• Develop and propose improvements to work processes, procedures, and regulations.
• Manage business or tissue banking activities in accordance with Ministry of Health (MOH) requirements, including biosafety, waste management, and related regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating laboratory teams and supervising technical staff.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to monitor equipment and troubleshoot operational problems.
• Experience handling analytical issue investigation and remediation.
• Familiarity with MOH regulations, biosafety, and waste management procedures.
