Senior Professional Officer – Community & Allied Health Innovation

About the role

The Professional Officer will lead applied research and innovation for community and allied health, partnering with internal teams and industry stakeholders to develop scalable solutions such as care automation and digital health tools. The role focuses on translating clinical and operational needs into measurable outcomes that support Singapore’s healthcare innovation targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and develop road‑maps for healthcare solutions, including anti‑frailty programmes and cognitive screening technologies.
• Support industry collaborations with community, aged‑care, and technology partners to scope projects, gather technical inputs, and build the innovation ecosystem.
• Lead planning and execution of multiple innovation projects, tracking NRF KPIs such as service volume, value capture, manpower training, and ecosystem establishment.
• Produce technical reports, presentations, and monthly operation reports for senior management.
• Contribute to grant proposals, project submissions, and analytics workstreams, including digital dashboard development for partners.
• Provide leadership at Assistant Director level, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, stakeholder engagement, and conversion of opportunities into funded projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in healthcare, community care, aged care, allied health, digital health or innovation.
• Demonstrated leadership at Assistant Director level or equivalent, managing a business unit, programme office or multi‑disciplinary delivery team.
• Proven track record of securing industry‑funded projects, agency grants or other cashable resources.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in evidencing project value through cost savings, productivity gains, new business generation or similar metrics.
