Therapy Assistant

About the role

The Therapy Assistant supports physiotherapists in delivering effective treatment to patients. Working within the physiotherapy department, you will help set up and operate equipment, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to quality and data initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physiotherapists during therapy sessions, preparing and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Provide patient chaperone services and ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of all physiotherapy equipment in line with infection‑control protocols.
• Support quality‑assurance, risk‑management and data‑collection activities for the department.
• Perform administrative tasks such as record‑keeping and scheduling.
• Undertake any additional ad‑hoc duties assigned by the department.

Required profile

• GCE ‘O’/‘N’ level; a WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services is advantageous.
• Previous experience in frontline or customer‑service roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for service excellence.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in a second language.
