Financial Due Diligence Manager – Deals Advisory

About the role

PwC’s Deals Advisory practice is seeking a Manager to lead financial due diligence engagements for large corporate and private‑equity clients. You will work across the deal lifecycle, providing rigorous analysis and insight that help clients make informed investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial due diligence and other transaction‑related services.
• Analyse complex financial and operational data, assess quality of earnings, net assets and cash flows.
• Identify issues that may affect purchase price, deal structure or post‑deal integration.
• Prepare and review deliverables such as Excel databooks, written reports and presentations.
• Participate in client meetings, discuss findings and advise on next steps.
• Mentor junior team members and foster their technical development.
• Utilise a range of analytical tools and methodologies to solve client problems.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting or business from a recognised university, or professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a global accounting firm, with solid knowledge of financial due diligence and M&A processes.
• Proven track record leading due diligence engagements for large corporates or private‑equity funds.
• Experience interviewing senior management and assessing target company financials.
• Prior experience working in South‑East Asia is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and modelling.
