Senior Accountant – Marine & Offshore MNC, Great World City

About the role

Join a well‑established marine and offshore engineering MNC as a Senior Accountant, supporting operations in Singapore and Saudi Arabia while based in Great World City.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end closing entries for Singapore and Saudi Arabia entities.
• Review general ledger transactions to ensure proper recording.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for both entities.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support annual statutory audits and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare corporate tax computations and support tax compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Support transfer‑pricing documentation and manage intercompany accounting matters.
• Assist continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes and controls.
• Serve as Finance Business Partner to the Saudi Arabia subsidiary.
• Prepare management reports and assist regulatory and statutory submissions.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS, GST and corporate taxation.
• Experience in statutory audit, financial reporting and tax compliance across multiple entities.
• Experience supporting cross‑border operations, preferably in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Prior experience in team management or supervision is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different countries.
