Senior M&E & Fire Safety Manager – Commercial Buildings

About the role

We are seeking a Senior M&E & Fire Safety Manager to lead the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and fire safety functions for a portfolio of commercial buildings. You will ensure reliable building operations, safety compliance, and support the Property Management team in delivering high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the M&E team to maintain smooth building operations.
• Oversee daily maintenance and operation of electrical, ACMV, fire protection, lifts, generators and other building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, ensuring safe and timely execution.
• Manage contractors, vendors and service providers, including tenders and service contracts.
• Supervise tenant fit‑out works, ad‑hoc projects and building improvement initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, utility consumption and sustainability initiatives such as Green Mark requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Senior Fire Safety Manager certification (mandatory).
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years relevant experience, or Diploma with 5–8 years experience.
• Proven experience managing high‑rise commercial or mixed‑use buildings (non‑retail).
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of working under pressure.
