Account Manager – Field Sales

About the role

Arrow Electronics is hiring a full-time Account Manager in Singapore (Converge) to support a client base of around 100 mid-size accounts. The role combines field sales, account management and quoting, with a focus on selling Arrow's supply chain solutions and growing profit and margins.

Key responsibilities

• Sell all solutions and build relationships with internal partners; conduct calls to develop new revenue streams with existing and new customers.
• Identify selling opportunities in large, multi-location, complex and high-visibility Arrow customers through a strategic sales plan, and understand their needs and decision-making hierarchy.
• Lead account planning that sets mutual performance objectives, financial targets and milestones, and sell value-added, long-term solutions.
• Conduct quarterly business review visits to major accounts.
• Provide quotes to customers and ensure orders are properly processed.
• Partner with Global Commodity Management to share market intelligence on customers, trends and supply/demand, gather pricing quotes from Global Procurement teams and secure global supply inventory.

Required profile

• Typically a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Level 1: knowledge of own discipline, straightforward problems solved with standard procedures, moderate guidance provided.
• Level 2: extensive knowledge and experience, complex problems solved, limited guidance provided.
