Account Manager – Financial Services

About the role

AlphaSense is seeking an Account Manager to lead relationships with financial services clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks and private equity firms. You will be the primary point of contact for inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates and renewal discussions, driving retention and growth across a portfolio of high‑value accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Maximize retention rate and drive adoption of AlphaSense solutions across client business units.
• Identify and mitigate revenue at risk, forecast retention metrics and meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to uncover new growth opportunities and craft compelling messaging for prospective users.
• Conduct business reviews, onboarding, training initiatives and proactive outreach to keep clients informed and engaged.
• Act as the client advocate within AlphaSense and gather product feedback to inform development, marketing and sales efforts.

Required profile

• Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin and English to serve Mandarin‑speaking markets.
• Proven ability to build rapport and manage relationships with Fortune 1000 and financial services clients.
• Strong business acumen, consultative mindset and commitment to delivering results.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage analysts through C‑level executives and simplify complex concepts.
• Energetic, curious and adaptable with a passion for SaaS, AI‑driven research products.
