Accountant – Farrer Park – SGD 3,000-5,000

About the role

Surrey Hills Grocer, an expanding F&B group in Singapore, is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance team at the Farrer Park outlet. The role will support the Group’s financial reporting, cost management and business performance across multiple café, restaurant and grocery concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing and prepare monthly management accounts, profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports.
• Manage treasury functions such as cash‑flow monitoring, payment scheduling and forecasting.
• Assist with annual budgeting, financial forecasting and variance analysis against budget.
• Analyse outlet‑level financial performance, profitability and key cost indicators, identifying variances and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor food, beverage, labour, inventory and operating costs, including stock variances, wastage and write‑offs.
• Oversee procurement cost control, review vendor invoices and ensure compliance with budgets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Business Development and Events Sales on project costing and pricing.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and banks on statutory matters.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in F&B, hospitality or retail multi‑outlet environments.
• Strong experience in full‑set accounting, month‑end closing and financial reporting.
• Proven ability in P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
