Accountant – Finance Team (Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join a globally recognised FMCG business in Singapore. The role is central to the Finance Team, ensuring accurate financial accounting, compliance and timely reporting across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Complete month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, intercompany billing validation and accrual monitoring.
• Maintain data integrity in SAP, create and manage internal orders, and support price maintenance processes.
• Manage compliance and statutory reporting for regional offices, including tax filings, audit coordination and corporate secretarial tasks.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial accounting guidance and support FP&A initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen controls and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain teams on logistics accruals and reconcile cost listings against statutory P&L.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, quarterly schedules and management reports.

Required profile

• Strong technical proficiency in financial accounting and reporting.
• Attention to detail with a focus on compliance and statutory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions.
