Accountant – Full Spectrum Accounting Role in Singapore

About the role

This position leads the full spectrum of accounting activities for the Singapore office, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and provide data for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and oversee month‑end close processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, year‑end closing, and support annual audits.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer billing, and vendor payments.
• Handle capital and fixed‑asset accounting, stock entries, and monthly stock‑take.
• Prepare IRAS GST submissions and coordinate statutory filings with ACRA.
• Perform revenue and expenditure variance analysis and treasury reporting.
• Oversee internal control functions and enforce financial policies.
• Support general administrative, finance, and HR tasks as needed, including claims processing in Concur and bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with US GAAP exposure.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance in Singapore (IRAS, ACRA).
• Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English and proficient use of MS Office.
