Accounts Assistant

About the role

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance team in day‑to‑day accounting operations across Singapore. This junior‑level position offers exposure to both accounts receivable and payable processes while contributing to broader administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily AR, AP and general administrative functions.
• Manage customer collections, vendor payments, billing and claims.
• Prepare statements of account, payment vouchers, journal entries and financial reports.
• Perform bank and vendor reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Maintain customer/vendor records, office supplies and inventory.
• Liaise with customers, vendors and service providers.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, budgeting, GST reporting and audits.
• Provide basic HR and administrative support to the team.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Junior executive level with strong attention to detail.
• Good numerical aptitude and ability to work with financial data.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn accounting processes.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.
