Adhoc Patient Care Assistant – Part‑Time (Novena)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Adhoc Patient Care Assistant to support our partner hospitals and clinics in the Novena area. This part‑time position offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment while providing essential care to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Support nurses with basic patient care tasks and safe patient transfers.
• Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report any changes to the nursing team.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient areas and ensure equipment is properly sanitized.
• Promote patient comfort and safety throughout their stay.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or in a similar role.
• Availability to work AM and/or PM shifts, 3–4 days per week.
• Strong commitment to patient wellbeing and ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff.

Required skills

• Basic patient handling and transfer techniques.
• Ability to observe and report vital signs and patient conditions.
• Knowledge of infection control and hygiene standards.
