Assembly and Test Capacity Planning Intern

About the role

Marvell is looking for an intern on its Capacity Planning team, part of an experienced planning team at a leading fabless semiconductor company. The intern will help manage assembly and test loadings at subcontractors located globally, so that customer orders are fulfilled on time at minimal cost, with the fastest cycle time and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Support WIP and inventory reporting by subcontractor within the Oracle system, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give management status updates on capacity, loadings and order fulfilment.
• Analyse planning data to identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with planners, IT and cross-functional teams (engineering, test development, quality) to understand data sources and reporting needs.
• Take part in cross-functional projects that consolidate and standardise information sharing across organisations.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electronics, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, with a specialisation in data analytics.
• Related semiconductor assembly and planning experience preferred.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Able to assist in system enhancement, preferably with good knowledge of IT, Oracle and Microsoft tools.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate, and/or RPA is advantageous.
