Assistant Accountant – Finance Operations (SGD 5.5k-6k)

About the role

Our client, a leading multinational corporation, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join its Finance Operations team in Singapore. The role will manage the full accounting cycle for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets, supporting month‑end and year‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing, including journal entries, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts and intercompany transactions.
• Manage Accounts Receivable processes: invoicing, collections and receivables reporting.
• Oversee Fixed Assets accounting: capitalization, depreciation, disposals and asset reporting.
• Prepare financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on accounting experience covering GL, AR and FA.
• Proven experience with month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset and focus on process improvement.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA (ERP system)
