Assistant Client Manager

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Singapore retail broking team at Marsh. This hybrid role requires at least three days a week in the office and offers a steep learning curve with great opportunities for career development.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day communication with complex accounts, managing correspondence and maintaining client communications.
• Conduct client and industry research, prepare benchmarking studies and create risk maps for internal and external use.
• Support colleagues by handling day‑to‑day account tasks, including billing, calendar coordination, and liaison between senior professionals and business accounts.
• Address account concerns, resolve small and complex problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collect insights on relationship satisfaction, report results to senior colleagues and suggest improvements to ensure account retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent; ANZIIF or ACII is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and problem‑solving skills.
• Highly motivated team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate swiftly in a fast‑paced environment.
