Assistant Manager, Brand, Marketing and Communications

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Brand, Marketing and Communications leads the development and execution of Epworth Community Services’ brand, marketing and communications initiatives. This hands‑on position creates high‑quality content, campaigns and media pitches that reflect the organisation’s mission, values and programmes, supporting fundraising and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen Epworth’s brand identity across print and digital platforms.
• Plan and execute campaigns that amplify programme impact, fundraising initiatives and community outreach.
• Produce video, audio and visual storytelling assets that showcase beneficiaries and initiatives.
• Maintain website content and user experience to ensure clear, accessible information.
• Develop and execute proactive media relations strategies, including press releases, media pitches and interview coordination.
• Grow and manage social media platforms through content planning and engagement.
• Coordinate internal and external communications, including newsletters, impact reports and annual reports.
• Collaborate with Partnerships, Fundraising, Community Relations and programme teams, as well as external partners and vendors.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in brand, marketing and communications, preferably within a non‑profit or community‑focused organisation.
• Strong storytelling ability to translate organisational priorities into compelling narratives.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams, partners and external vendors.
