Assistant Manager, Communications Office, PHCC

About the role

NUHS Population Health & Community Care (PHCC) is the regional health manager for western Singapore, bringing together NUHS hospitals and polyclinics, general practitioners, social care providers and community partners. It is looking for a motivated and creative communicator to support communications that bring its population health and community care efforts to life, working closely with the Senior Assistant Manager and Head of Communications.

Key responsibilities

• Create clear, engaging content across formats such as articles, newsletters, social media posts, speeches and presentations, and turn complex healthcare concepts into relatable stories.
• Develop visual and multimedia content such as videos and infographics with internal teams and vendors.
• Support the development and rollout of communication materials for population health programmes, adapting them for residents, partners and internal stakeholders while keeping messaging, tone and branding consistent.
• Develop and curate content for internal platforms (newsletters, staff communications, Intranet) and support partner engagement, events and outreach.
• Support media and public communications, including drafting media materials and monitoring coverage, and assist with digital platform management.
• Coordinate timelines and deliverables for communication projects and work with vendors such as designers and videographers.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant communications experience.
• Experience in content creation and visual development roles preferred.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with digital content creation, social media and video production.
• Ability to follow and execute communication strategies and plans.
