Assistant Manager – Distribution Training

About the role

The Distribution Talent Centre is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead training initiatives for its sales force. You will work closely with channel heads, sales managers and advisers to understand training needs, deliver high‑impact programs and ensure learning translates into performance on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver classroom and e‑learning training programs for the INCOME sales force, covering product knowledge, sales advisory processes and soft‑skill development.
• Create competency‑assessment tools and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions.
• Maintain compliance with company and industry standards through regular review and revision of training materials.
• Manage all levels of distribution training, from new‑hire induction to advanced sales and wealth‑management modules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align training with business objectives and monitor key performance indicators.
• Stay current with professional development trends, best practices and industry publications.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline.
• CMFAS M5, M9, M9A certifications and a Certificate in Health Insurance (mandatory).
• Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience and/or 3 years of sales‑training experience in the financial services sector.
• Experience selling or training life insurance, health insurance and wealth‑management solutions to mass‑affluent or high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• CMFAS certification (M5, M9, M9A).
• Health Insurance certification.
• Training & Assessment certification (advanced level preferred).
