Assistant Manager, Lancet Commission on Precision Health

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Lancet Commission on Precision Health. This position provides coordination and administrative assistance for an international research collaboration, working closely with senior academics, internal stakeholders, and overseas partners to advance precision medicine globally.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and sequence Asia‑Pacific regional activities in line with the Commission’s workplan and timelines.
• Align stakeholder inputs, milestones, and meeting schedules with central Secretariat requirements.
• Monitor progress, dependencies, and delivery risks across workstreams, adjusting plans and escalating issues as needed.
• Manage Commission‑related operations and Secretariat support within approved scope, budgets, and NTU policies.
• Prioritise documentation, scheduling, and follow‑ups to minimise senior‑level intervention.
• Lead engagement with senior and diverse stakeholders, tailoring communications and managing expectations.
• Identify and mitigate stakeholder and operational risks, including misalignment and delays.
• Plan and deliver high‑profile Commission meetings and events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or administrative support within an academic or research environment.
• Strong ability to work with internal and international partners and manage multiple workstreams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder liaison.
• Capacity to anticipate risks and propose practical solutions.
