Assistant Manager / Manager, Estate & Property Services

About the role

JTC is hiring an Assistant Manager / Manager for its Estate & Property Services team. You will manage the portfolio of vacant factory spaces, keeping them well maintained and ready for handover to incoming tenants. The role covers oversight of outsourced facilities management contractors, coordination with internal and external stakeholders and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee maintenance regimes for vacant and tenanted industrial properties, and manage outsourced facilities management vendors so that work meets required standards and deadlines
• Monitor vendor performance and service levels
• Work with internal stakeholders on allocation schedules and manage vendors for repairs and retrofit works on vacant and tenanted properties
• Liaise with external stakeholders and government agencies on regulatory compliance, including fire safety and pollution control requirements such as PFI (Periodic Fire Investigation) and PSI processes
• Support or lead procurement exercises and administer contracts for FM services

Required profile

• Background in Facilities Management, Building, Real Estate, Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in facilities, property management and/or project management, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting
• Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract administration is an advantage
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as fire safety and environmental compliance is preferred
• Strong coordination and communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
