Assistant Manager, Partnerships & Engagement

About the role

The Research Centre for Residue and Toxic Industrial Waste Management (TREASURES) at NTU is looking for an Assistant Manager, Partnerships & Engagement. The role bridges academic research and industrial application by driving corporate partnerships, managing high-impact engagement events, coordinating collaborative grant funding and shaping the centre's digital public face. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run industrial engagement events, including large workshops, seminars and industry visits
• Maintain and update the research centre's website with news, events and research milestones
• Liaise with industrial partners and Institutes of Higher Learning on grant funding and joint research
• Support industry meetings and advisory boards with minutes, data gathering and management reports
• Handle confidential industrial data and collaboration agreements discreetly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, STEM or a related field
• 3 to 4 years of experience in event management, corporate communications or industrial liaison
• Experience in an Institute of Higher Learning or research institute is highly advantageous
• Experience in the Building and Environment sector is preferred
