About the role

Join Marsh Risk’s Corporate & Commercial team in Singapore as an Assistant Vice President. This hybrid position offers the chance to work closely with a motivated broking team and gain exposure across Marsh McLennan.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and implement business plans to achieve targets.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key client decision makers.
• Proactively manage account services, identify client needs and ensure service standards.
• Identify revenue growth opportunities and expand business from existing portfolios.
• Implement account retention and defense strategies.
• Assist claims teams with complex claim negotiations.
• Build relationships with insurers to better serve clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5‑8 years of insurance industry experience, preferably in Singapore Property & Casualty market.
• Strong people, time, verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI); ANZIIF or ACII is a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of major insurance classes and product developments.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
