Assistant VP – HR Business Partner (Group HR)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, HR Business Partner will support UOB's Personal Financial Services (PFS) division, aligning people strategies with business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving talent initiatives and ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with PFS functions to deliver HR solutions across talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, training, and organisational development.
• Provide proactive HR advisory on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, redundancies, and terminations.
• Collaborate with group, country, and specialist HR teams to ensure consistent policy implementation and seamless service delivery.
• Support manpower planning and talent management to meet business growth targets.

Required profile

• Degree-qualified with 3‑5 years of HR experience, preferably in a large corporation or banking environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated drive for excellence and a principled, energetic approach to business partnering.
