Associate Equipment Engineer

About the role

GlobalFoundries is seeking an Associate Equipment Engineer to support equipment readiness in its semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and tool support to ensure high equipment availability and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment.
• Execute maintenance and tool support activities to keep equipment ready for production.
• Analyze technical charts and monitor equipment performance.
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects.
• Upgrade equipment as needed while adhering to safety practices.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Microelectronics Engineering.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in a semiconductor equipment role.
• Willingness to work a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule.
• Commitment to follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
