Associate Test Engineer – Semiconductor (Up to $4k)

About the role

The Associate Test Engineer will support semiconductor testing activities in a clean‑room environment. You will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, testing and troubleshooting circuits, components and mechanical assemblies, ensuring product quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies or final systems and perform rework as needed.
• Prepare technical reports summarising findings and recommending solutions.
• Assist in selecting and setting up specialised test equipment.

Required profile

• Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision testing and measuring instruments.
• Hands‑on experience with semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with optics alignment is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for data analysis and experiment setup.
• Willingness to work shifts in a clean‑room environment.
