AVP / Senior Associate – Business Management Office (Global Financial Markets)

About the role

The Business Management Office in DBS Global Financial Markets is looking for an AVP/Senior Associate to partner with front‑office Trading & Sales desks. You will provide end‑to‑end support, drive new business requirements and help digitalise existing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders, sales, structurers and support units (technology, audit, legal, compliance, risk) to implement regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Assist sales processes, including customer suitability and account queries.
• Improve front‑office workflows to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Manage desk‑support control functions and room‑wide processes such as weekly/monthly selldown, cash rollover and brokerages.
• Run and enhance reports, participate in ad‑hoc working groups, and support automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Direct experience in Global Markets or Custody & Securities Services, especially in Product Control, Middle Office Operations or Risk.
• Product knowledge of bonds, equities, FX and derivatives is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
• Collaborative, self‑starting attitude with solid organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Knowledge of data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
