Banking Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Banking Business Analyst to join our data and analytics team on a contract basis. You will work closely with product owners, data stewards and engineering teams to deliver governance solutions for our enterprise data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and manage business and functional requirements.
• Define metadata models, business glossaries and governance processes.
• Design and document governance workflows, controls and stewardship processes.
• Create and manage user stories, backlog items and release requirements.
• Perform UAT and validate platform features, configurations and customisations.
• Develop training materials and support user‑adoption activities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Stewards, Architects and Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• 8+ years of business analysis experience in data, analytics, data governance/management or enterprise data platform implementations.
• Strong knowledge of metadata management, data governance and data catalog concepts.
• Experience with Agile delivery, requirements management and stakeholder engagement.
