Business Development Director - Fund Services

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group with deep expertise in private markets, is looking for a Business Development Director for its Fund Services business. Working within a high-performing commercial team, you will uncover new markets, build client relationships and drive the expansion of a global business. The role identifies, develops and converts new business opportunities across key markets, combining lead generation with research and market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted research, lead generation and market analysis aligned with strategic growth objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, assess their needs and deliver tailored solutions and proposals.
• Support the end-to-end business development process, including market research, due diligence, RFP/RFI coordination and participation in sales meetings.
• Track sales performance, maintain accurate CRM records and gather market and competitor intelligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams to drive revenue growth and represent IQ-EQ professionally with clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, with strong accounting and/or financial services experience.
• At least 8 years of client-facing business development experience, ideally in fund administration.
• Solid knowledge of closed-ended and open-ended funds, including private equity and hedge funds.
• Self-motivated, with strong integrity, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Effective documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
