Business Manager, Operational Due Diligence & Outsourcing

About the role

Join AIA Investment Management as a Business Manager focused on Operational Due Diligence and Outsourcing. You will partner with Investment, Operations and Corporate Support teams to drive continuous improvement across the operating model, enhancing controls, risk oversight and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct process mapping, gap analysis and root‑cause reviews across investment, operational and support functions.
• Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce risk and support audit readiness.
• Support the COO Office with operational risk updates, KPI tracking and internal communications.
• Coordinate small‑scale initiatives or pilots, monitor progress of business plans and KPIs, and ensure timely follow‑up on action items.
• Prepare briefing materials, presentations and reports for senior stakeholders, including ExCo, Board and regulators.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI frameworks and management reporting tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational due diligence, process improvement or operational risk within an investment or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and design practical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and senior management.
• Ability to communicate clearly and produce high‑quality briefing materials and reports.
