About the role
Join the culinary team of two iconic hotels in Singapore, delivering high‑quality dishes for guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain daily mise en place and prepare ingredients for service.
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe and sanitary handling practices.
- Adhere to recipes, stock management procedures and adjust cooking based on guest preferences.
- Stay up‑to‑date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to foster a secure and friendly working environment.
- Guide and train junior colleagues, promoting motivation and productivity.
Required profile
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a basic culinary position, preferably in a similar hotel operation.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a Certificate in Culinary.
- Strong personal hygiene, clean and tidy presentation.
- Self‑motivated, energetic and eager to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain reliable, consistent performance.
