Chief Cook

About the role

The Chief Cook will lead the daily culinary operations at 3ES Kitchen, ensuring high‑quality food production that meets customer specifications, nutritional guidelines and food‑safety standards. This executive‑level position combines hands‑on cooking with team leadership and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and control all kitchen activities, from menu creation to final food preparation.
• Manage day‑to‑day production of cooked‑food items, balancing delivery schedules, cost targets and safety requirements.
• Develop and refine production processes to maximise raw‑material utilisation while maintaining quality.
• Oversee waste management, stock control, equipment maintenance and hygiene compliance.
• Lead, train and supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve consistent standards.
• Collaborate with product developers on new menu items and recipe innovation.
• Handle budgeting, labour costing, forecasting and resource planning.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory food‑safety, health and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in a Bangladeshi kitchen or similar high‑volume food production environment.
• Experience in preparing cooked‑food products such as frozen meals, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work under pressure, on weekends, public holidays and overtime as needed.
• Strong stamina for long standing hours and fast‑paced kitchen work.
